INGREDIENTS FOR STRIPED CHRISTMAS CANDY CANE DOG TREAT RECIPE

3 Cups flour

2 Teaspoons baking powder

2 Tablespoons oil

1 Cup honey

1/2 Cup peanut butter

2 Eggs, beaten

Frosting

1 Cup mashed banana

1 Tablespoon butter

3 Tablespoons Carob Powder

3 Tablespoons flour

DIRECTIONS FOR STRIPED CHRISTMAS CANDY CANE DOG TREAT RECIPE

1. Preheat the oven to 350F
2. Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer until well combined.
3. On a well floured surface, knead the dough until it is soft and pliable. If the dough is too runny, add a little flour until the right consistancy is acchieved.
4. Roll out the dough to a 1/4 inch thickness and cut cookies with a candy cane cookie cutter.
5. Place on a well greased cookie sheet and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
6. To make the frosting, add all ingredients into a small mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer until it achieves the consistancy of frosting.
7. Add the frosting mix to a frosting tube and pipe stripes onto the cooled candy cane cookies.
