Dark Dough

4 Cups whole wheat flour

1/2 Cup cornmeal

1 Egg, beaten

1/4 Cup molasses

1 Tablespoon oil

1 1/2 Cups water

DIRECTIONS FOR CHRISTMAS CANDY CANE DOG TREAT RECIPE

1. Preheat the oven to 350F
2. For both colour doughs, mix the dry ingredients first, then add the wet ingredients. Make sure that everything is well combined.
3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the light dough
4. cut into 1/4 by 4 inch strips and roll gently until the strip looks like a cigar.
5. do the same for the dark dough.
6. take a light strip and dark strip and twist together.
