Good news for dog owners that live in Toronto! After a two year long review, city council approved the creation of 29 new off-leash dog parks.
For the past few months I’ve been showing you how to make various dog leash and collar projects with 550 paracord. Paracord is a really great material to use for leashes and collars. It’s durable, washable and literally lasts forever!
Well, if you’re feeling crafty, you can now buy complete kits for some of the projects that are on my blog! You don’t have to go through the hassle of shopping at different stores for project materials and I have even preshrunk the paracord so that you can start braiding right away!

If you live in the Niagara Region of Ontario and need a vet, consider the Martindale Animal Clinic. The staff there are wonderful and they really are all about the animals. I walked in a total stranger with an injured dog and they didn’t even ask for a deposit for jersey’s care.

Saturday was sunny and actually above zero degrees, so Jersey and I decided to take a trip to the local dog park. We don’t go there very often since Jersey has many opportunities to run off leash at my Dad’s farm.
